I confess

I confess. I haven’t read one page since May 20th….until today.

This is what I do. I get all going on something great and then fizzle out. I have just been “fizzled out” for a few months, sorry.

Anyway, just wanted to say “hi” and let whoever might still read this know that all is not lost in this effort.

Only 269 more pages and I’ll be caught up ;p

Wow! And I thought I was behind! haha, just kidding! I haven’t had time for the blog but I am still reading. I’m about 2 weeks behind, reading when I can. It’s been insanely busy lately. I’m glad you are jumping back in. That’s what Ashley and I have talked about is that it’s not about if we finish by the deadline, it’s just to keep on reading. God’s Word is still powerful and will still speak to our hearts. He will honor us….just keep going!! Love ya, Julia!

I’m on a brief hiatus, too. Summer schedules (or the lack of them…) ruin me for routines. I guess that’s one reason I look forward to the start of school every year – a return to “normal” (whatever that is…). 🙂

I’m behind – I’d say about a month and a half, maybe. I think my last day of reading was June 6th or 7th, and even then I was a few weeks behind the schedule. I don’t want to skip any of the readings just to be “back on track”, so I’ll jump in where I left off when I can and do what I can. I probably won’t get truly caught up in time to finish with 2012, but like Niki said above, the purpose is the reading, not the deadline.

Keep on, Julie! We’re in this for the long haul, however long it may be. 🙂

Is it weird that I want to “like” your comment, Ashley? haha!

Hahaha, Niki! I just looked for a like button, too! 🙂

We are all on the same page then…all behind by weeks to months. I confess thatI am behind as well. I agree that we are in it for the long haul, not for deadlines. Keep going ladies. Look forward to the coming months when things will “get back to normal” and we can all dialogue once more.
(I also wanted a like button…too much facebook)
P.S. Anyone in 1st or 2nd Samuel? That is currently where I am…although I took a break from there to read the book of Luke from start to finish.
